Now 50 years sustainable with BENGglas® Extra Clear
In this project in Berlicum, Hadeco Schilders replaced the old insulation glass with BENG glass extra clear with a U-value (U=0.50). Thanks to the very thin glass thickness of only 8.3 mm, the existing window frames could be retained, without drastic modifications.
After installation, everything was neatly finished and repainted so that the house looks sleek again. Insulation is now up to three times better, while the glass has a lifespan of up to 50 years - about twice as long as regular insulating glass.
Fully preserved with BENGglas® Single Coated
In Schijndel, Hadeco Schilders gave this house a clear upgrade with BENG glass single coated with a U-value (U=0.40). The outdated insulation glass was replaced with ultra-thin vacuum glass of only 8.3 mm, allowing the existing window frames to remain in place.
After installation, the window frames were tightly finished and repainted, so that everything is once again one whole. The result is noticeable: up to three times better insulation, more comfort in the house and a solution that will last up to 50 years. Thus, the house is ready for the decades to come, without a major renovation.
Hadeco makes another home sustainable with BENGglas® (U=0.40)
Less heat loss, more peace of mind and immediately more comfort in the home. With BENGglas® vacuum glass, it becomes possible to greatly improve existing homes without having to make major modifications to the window frames. With a U-value (U=0.40), BENG glass insulates up to three times better than standard HR++ glass (U=1.10). Thanks to its ultra-thin construction, the glass fits into virtually any rebate and is very suitable for renovation.
For this project, Hadeco chose BENGglas® Single Coated. This type lasts up to 50 years and also provides a marked improvement in sound insulation, with a reduction of up to -36 dB. The result is a quieter home, lower energy costs, a better energy label and noticeably more living comfort.
