BENGglas presents groundbreaking test results of its latest vacuum glass. The absolute standout: BENGglas Triple Coated, equipped with a triple coating, achieves an unprecedented low Ug-value of no less than 0.34 W/m2K; a breakthrough in glass insulation.
The other variants also perform impressively. For example, BENGglas Single Coated achieves an insulation value of Ug 0.41 W/m2K. This is exceptional for glass that is only 8.3 millimeters thick and remains completely clear.
European test reports from IFT Rosenheim
The performance has been confirmed by the renowned IFT Rosenheim. The institute tested panes of 8.3 millimeters thick, consisting of two glass layers of 4 millimeters each with a vacuum gap of only 0.3 millimeters in between. The test setup (0.5 x 0.5 meters) contains microspacers at a distance of 55 millimeters.

European standards
The test results, received in February 2025, are based on the most current European standards. Youri Creutzberg, director, responds enthusiastically: ‘The glass has been tested according to the latest standards, EN 674 and ISO 19916-1, and the results exceed our expectations. Our Single Coated already scores an exceptional Ug-value of 0.41 W/m2K, the Double Coated 0.39, but the real breakthrough is in the Triple Coated, with which we achieve an unprecedented insulation value of no less than 0.34.’
