A big step for architects, glass consultants and anyone who calculates with glass
Good news: BENG glass has recently been officially included in glassAdvisor, the independent calculation software used worldwide by architects, glass consultants and façade builders. This means that our performance is now fully and independently recorded, allowing professionals to include BENG glass directly in their calculations and reports.
This milestone came about after all technical data was delivered to the developer of glassAdvisor and additional tests were carried out at the independent notified body SSV in Italy.
What exactly does glassAdvisor do?
glassAdvisor is a free tool that allows you to compile and compare the thermal and light transmission properties of glass and glass combinations. The extended, paid version also lets you perform thermostress analyses, which helps with façade design and engineering.
Architects and glass consultants use glassAdvisor daily to:
