Last September, BENGlass signed a Letter of Intent with LandVac to build a production site in Europe. LandVac, a subsidiary of LandGlass, has been engaged in international sales of vacuum glass since 2016 and is considered a leader in the industry. It is also the only producer of tempered titanium vacuum glass. By soon also producing this product in Europe, it will not only be able to supply a high-quality product, but also one with a significantly shorter delivery time. This lays a solid foundation for further expansion in Europe and, above all, contributes to accelerating the energy transition.
In order to realize the plant before 2030, a good third-party partner is being sought. With its participation, BENGglas and LandVac expect to have the new production line operational within two to three years.
''We are only at the beginning''
Youri Creutzberg: ''When we started BENGglas® in 2019, there was hardly any market for vacuum glass in Europe. We had to build it up from scratch. That meant: full commitment to radio campaigns, 10-15 trade shows a year, a strong online presence and even TV commercials. Fast forward to 2025: the landscape has changed. The vacuum glass market is really here and growing, our product is better than ever, and we have an exclusive partnership with Landvac Ti-Vacuum Insulated Glazing.
Today I am proud to share that this collaboration is reaching an important new phase: we have signed a letter of intent with Landvac Ti-Vacuum Insulated Glazing to jointly set up the very first LV vacuum glass production line in Europe.
This step is not only exciting but also necessary: shorter delivery times, a stronger European position and a much better CO₂ performance. Above all, it brings vacuum glass to the forefront as a real driver in Europe's energy transition.
In the coming period we will focus on finding the right third partner to join us, with the aim of realizing this production line within 2-3 years."
