Exhibitor News: Future Facade
In a rapidly changing market driven by sustainability requirements, BENGglas and BENGsolar are positioning themselves as leaders. With record-breaking insulation values and integrated solar energy solutions, these two Dutch brands are shaping the future of the construction sector.
BENGglas Breaks Records in the Field of Glass Insulation
BENGglas presents groundbreaking test results of the latest vacuum glass. The highlight: BENGglas Triple Coated, with a triple coating, achieves an unprecedented low Ug-value of only 0.34 W/m²K – a breakthrough in glass insulation. These results have been independently confirmed by the renowned IFT Rosenheim, which tested the glass panes according to the latest European standards EN 674 and ISO 19916-1. With an expected lifespan of at least 50 years and a noise reduction of -36 dB, BENGglas ensures sustainable building with maximum comfort.

Youri Creutzberg, director of BENGglas, is proud of this breakthrough:
“The glass has been tested according to the latest standards — EN 674 and ISO 19916-1 — and the results exceeded our expectations. BENGglas Single Coated already achieves an exceptional U-value of 0.41, BENGglas Double Coated comes out at 0.39, but the real breakthrough is the BENGglas Triple Coated with an impressive U-value of only 0.34 W/m²K.”
Integrated Solar Energy as a Design Solution
While BENGglas focuses on insulation, BENGsolar specializes in integrated solar energy. The company develops aesthetically high-quality, custom-made solar solutions that seamlessly blend into the architecture of buildings — from energy-generating facades to design solar panels. By combining technology with design, BENGsolar enables building owners to meet the increasingly stringent BENG requirements (Nearly Energy Neutral Buildings) without compromising the appearance of their property.

BENGglas Sun – Generating and Saving Energy in One Product
A striking example of the synergy between the two companies is BENGglas Sun — a unique glass solution that combines high-quality vacuum glass with integrated solar cells. Thanks to this combination, buildings can not only save energy but also generate it themselves. Together, BENGglas and BENGsolar form a powerful duo for the sustainable construction of tomorrow.
