Van Dam Glas & Montage has once again sustainably upgraded a beautiful municipal monument with BENGglas: De Sociëteit Vereeniging in Haarlem. This remarkable building from 1923 on the Zijlweg has a rich history — and now also a future that is ready for the coming decades.
The old single glazing (U=5.80) was replaced with BENGglas Single Coated (U=0.40). An improvement by a factor of 14, which ensures significantly more comfort inside and a substantial reduction in CO₂ emissions.

In samenwerking met Van Dam Glas & Montage is ook deze woning in Gemeente Bloemendaal klaar voor de toekomst. Het oude enkel glas met een U-waarde van 5,8 is vervangen door BENGglas BASIC, met een isolatiewaarde van 0,58 – dat is maar liefst 10 keer beter!
Dankzij het ultradunne ontwerp past BENGglas BASIC perfect in de bestaande kozijnen, waardoor het authentieke karakter van het pand volledig behouden blijft. En het beste? De isolatie zorgt voor een flinke besparing op de energierekening.
Modern upgrade for dental practice in Rotterdam
In collaboration with Kralingsche Glashandel, BENGglas installed 320 pieces of vacuum glass at Tandarts West, a modern practice in Rotterdam West. The old single glass (U=5.8) in the steel frames was replaced with BENGglas with an impressive U-value of 0.40. This means 14 times better insulation, a better energy label, and lower energy costs. Thanks to the slim thickness of only 8.3 mm, BENGglas fits effortlessly into existing frames, preserving the authentic appearance and making costly frame replacement unnecessary.
Verduurzaming monumentale villa in Oegstgeest
In samenwerking met Van Dam Glas & Montage wordt deze prachtige villa in Oegstgeest flink verduurzaamd. Het oude enkel glas met een hoge U-waarde van 5,6 maakt plaats voor BENGglas, het beste isolatieglas ter wereld, met een indrukwekkende U-waarde van slechts 0,40. Hoe lager de U-waarde, hoe beter de isolatie!
Dankzij de slanke dikte van BENGglas (slechts 8,3 mm) past het moeiteloos in de bestaande kozijnen. Zo blijft de authentieke uitstraling van deze monumentale woning volledig behouden – en worden onnodige kosten voor kozijnvervanging voorkomen.

The old double glazing (U = 2.9) has been replaced by vacuum glass from BENGglas with an insulation value of 0.40. This is a significant step forward in comfort and energy efficiency. Less heat loss directly means lower heating costs — and more living pleasure.

Together with Van Dam Glas & Montage and C&M Schilders, this house has been fitted with vacuum glass in special shapes. Think of arches and slanted panes — perfectly fitting in existing frames. Thanks to BENGglas, the residents now benefit from top insulation, without having to change anything about the original appearance.
Houses in Vogelenzang to a higher level with BENGglas
In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, the first two homes of this beautiful complex in Vogelenzang have been equipped with vacuum glass from BENGglas. The old double glazing (thermopane) has been replaced with glass that has a U-value of 0.40 — and you will notice it. Less heat loss, a more favorable energy label, and lower heating costs.
Comfort also gets a significant boost. BENGglas standardly reduces noise by up to 36 dB, and with the laminated variant, it goes up to 39 dB. That means: more peace inside, without cold or drafts. And because the glass fits into the existing frames, you don't need to demolish or modify anything. That's nice.

Waar eerst enkel glas zat met een U-waarde van 5,8, is nu gekozen voor ultradun vacuümglas van BENGglas (U=0,40). Dankzij de minimale dikte konden de bestaande kozijnen gewoon behouden blijven.
Een enorme stap in isolatie - zónder het karakter van het pand aan te tasten.

In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, this detached house in Lisse has become much more comfortable and energy-efficient. The old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced with super-insulating vacuum glass from BENGglas, with a U-value of 0.40. This significantly reduces heat loss and the energy bill. The lower the U-value, the better the insulation — and you notice that immediately.
Also nice: adhesive bars were chosen instead of real bars. This way, the classic look is preserved, but with better insulation and lower costs.

Together with Van Dam Glas & Montage, this house in Bloemendaal has become much more comfortable and energy-efficient. The old thermopane double glazing (U-value 2.8) has been replaced by the smart vacuum glass from BENGglas. With a U-value of just 0.40, this glass is almost seven times better at insulating. This means not only a better energy label but also significantly lower heating costs. A win-win situation!
For this project, the extra slim 8.3 mm version of BENGglas was chosen, with a double low-E coating for optimal insulation and excellent sun protection. This way, the interior stays pleasantly cool in the summer and warm in the winter, while the authentic appearance of the house is preserved.

An extra slim version of 8.3 mm with a double coating was chosen. This way, the solar heat stays outside on warm days, and the warmth stays inside when it's cold — without having to compromise on light or appearance.
