In collaboration with Schildersbedrijf Hoskens, this house has been made more sustainable with vacuum glass from BENGglas. The old glass has been replaced by thin and light insulation glass that fits perfectly in the existing frames. The residents now benefit from a much lower U-value (0.40), more daylight, and significantly less noise from outside. Without major renovations, with more comfort.
Monumental homes, modern performance
In collaboration with Glaszetter Kok Renkum, two characterful homes have been made significantly more energy-efficient with BENG glass (U = 0.40).
In Wageningen, the entire kitchen has been fitted with vacuum glass, while in Doorwerth, the entire ground floor has been renovated. For that project, even the glazing beads were custom-made in the workshop of Kok Renkum — ensuring that the result not only insulates well but also perfectly matches the existing appearance.
Better living in Maastricht — quieter, more economical, smarter
In collaboration with Aarts Glas, this house in Maastricht has been significantly improved in terms of insulation. The old double glazing (U = 2.8) has been replaced with BENGglas, which has a much better insulation value of 0.40. This means less heat loss, a lower energy bill, and a better energy label.
And it doesn't stop at heat. This vacuum glass already provides a standard sound reduction of 36 dB — and with an extra soundproofing layer, it even goes up to 39 dB. Ideal for those who want just a bit more peace at home.
Classic on the outside, modern comfort on the inside
Together with Schildersbedrijf Hoskens, this house has been prepared for the future. The old glass (U = 5.8) has been replaced with vacuum glass from BENGglas with an insulation value of 0.40. This significantly reduces the energy bill and makes the interior immediately more comfortable.
Smart detail: adhesive bars were chosen instead of real bars. This looks classic, but insulates better and is also more economical. By finishing with putty, the appearance remains authentic — without compromising on performance.

In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, the insulation glass of this house in the municipality of Bloemendaal has been significantly improved.
The old double glazing (U = 2.9) has been replaced by vacuum glass from BENGglas with an insulation value of 0.40. This is a major step forward in comfort and energy efficiency. Less heat loss means directly lower heating costs — and more living pleasure.
