Houses in Vogelenzang to a higher level with BENGglas

In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, the first two homes of this beautiful complex in Vogelenzang have been equipped with vacuum glass from BENGglas. The old double glazing (thermopane) has been replaced with glass that has a U-value of 0.40 — and you will notice it. Less heat loss, a more favorable energy label, and lower heating costs.

Comfort also gets a significant boost. BENGglas standardly reduces noise by up to 36 dB, and with the laminated variant, it goes up to 39 dB. That means: more peace inside, without cold or drafts. And because the glass fits into the existing frames, you don't need to demolish or modify anything. That's nice.

House in Dwingeloo ready for the future with BENG glass

Together with Schildersbedrijf Donker, this house in Dwingeloo has been equipped with vacuum glass from BENGglas. This replaced the old single glass with a U-value of 5.8 with glass that scores up to 0.40 on insulation — a significant step forward. Good for the energy label and for the wallet.

The difference in comfort is also noticeable. Thanks to the vacuum technology, not only is heat loss limited, but also noise from outside. BENGglas standardly dampens up to 36 dB. If you choose the laminated variant, it goes up to 39 dB. This way, it remains nice and quiet, warm, and energy-efficient inside — without having to replace the frames.

More peace and less consumption in apartment complex

Together with Schildersbedrijf Hoskens, the single glazing of this apartment has been replaced with vacuum glass from BENGglas. This significantly reduces heat loss: with a U-value of up to 0.40, this glass insulates up to three times better than HR++ — and it fits perfectly into the existing frames.

Because the apartment is located on a busy street, the new glass also offers extra comfort. Thanks to the strong sound insulation of 36 to even 39 dB (in the laminated variant), it has become much quieter inside. And with an expected lifespan of 50 years, there is no need to worry about it for the time being. Very convenient.

From single glazing to top insulation in Veenoord

Together with Schildersbedrijf Donker, this house in Veenoord has been significantly upgraded with vacuum glass from BENGglas. Where there was previously single glazing (U = 5.8), glass with an insulation value of 0.40 has now been installed — that's more than ten times better!

Not only does the house heat up less quickly in the summer and cool down more slowly in the winter, but the noise from outside is also significantly reduced. And the appearance? It has remained as it was. With attention to detail, the original profiles and the drip sill have been neatly restored. This way, the appearance remains familiar — but the comfort feels like new.

Smart insulation in the extension

Glazier Kok Renkum equipped this extension with vacuum glass from BENGglas. With a U-value of 0.40, the glass insulates up to ten times better than single glass — and up to three times better than HR++ glass.

Thanks to the slim construction (8.3 mm), it fits effortlessly into existing frames. Extra wide glazing beads were chosen here, so that the edges remain neatly out of sight. Sleek result, without compromising on performance.

1950s house, ready for now

In collaboration with Glaszetter Kok Renkum, this house from the 1950s has been fully equipped with vacuum glass from BENGglas. The old single glass (U = 5.8) has been replaced with super insulating glass with a U-value of 0.40 — a world of difference in energy consumption and comfort.

Thanks to the slim construction (only 8.3 mm thick), the glass could simply be placed in the existing frames. This not only saves on costs for new frames but also ensures that the appearance of the house is preserved. Smart and sustainable, therefore.
