Sustainability of a monumental building in Oosterhout with adhesive rods
Together with Glashandel van Spaendonk, the single glazing of this house has been replaced by BENGglas.
What makes this job extra smart? The adhesive glazing bars! Because the glass is so thin, they seem to touch each other. The result: less hassle with installation, lower costs, and a sleek, authentic appearance.

Monumental building in Zwolle is ready for the future
Together with Schildersbedrijf Donker, this monumental house was prepared for the future.
The first floor had single glazing (U=5.8), and the ground floor had old-fashioned thermopane (U=2.8). These have all been replaced with super-smart vacuum glass from BENGglas with a U-value of 0.40.
The result? Much warmer in the winter, cooler in the summer, and a lower energy bill. And the best part: the character of the building remains beautifully intact.
BENG glass as conservatory roof
Did you know that traditional insulation glass loses some of its insulating power when placed horizontally? Not with BENGglas! Even when lying down, the U-value remains remarkably sharp at 0.40.
And as if that weren't enough, BENGglas Double Coated also provides extra sun protection. This way, residents not only save on their energy bills but also keep the interior pleasantly cool and comfortable.

Monument with modern achievements
Glasgilde has equipped this monumental house with vacuum glass from BENGglas with an insulation value of 0.40. A significant leap forward, as the old single glass still allowed up to 5.8 through — you immediately feel that in comfort and energy costs.
Thanks to the slim thickness of only 8.3 mm, the glass fits right into the existing frames. That saves costs and ensures that the authentic appearance of the house remains as it was.
Extra nice: BENGglas dampens sound up to 36 dB, prevents cold spots, and lets in about 15% more natural light than triple glass. Comfort without compromise.

In addition to a significant leap in insulation, this glass also provides more comfort in the home and less noise from outside. Smartly made sustainable, without compromising on appearance.

Thanks to the minimal thickness of only 8.3 mm, the glass could easily be installed in the existing frames—without losing the authentic appearance.
