Restoration of national monument ''De Broodbakkery''
Glashandel van Spaendonk makes iconic national monument sustainable with BENG glass
85 years ago, a baker commissioned the construction of one of Tilburg's most striking buildings: the Bakery on Acaciastraat. With its sleek plastered white facade and colorful, geometric patterns, it was a real eye-catcher at the time – and it still is!
Thanks to the application of BENG glass vacuum glass, the monumental character and authentic appearance of this special building are fully preserved. Sustainable and stylish, without compromise.

Farmhouse upgraded with modern glass
At this farmhouse, the old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced by BENGglas vacuum glass with an insulation value of 0.40. A significant leap forward in living comfort and energy consumption.
Because the glass is only 8 mm thin, it could easily be placed in the existing frames. This way, the original character of the house is preserved — with today's insulation value.

Stained glass and secondary glazing with BENG glass - optimal insulation while preserving character
In collaboration with PROGLASS B.V., this beautiful detached villa in Baarn is equipped with the best insulating glass in the world: BENGglas!
The old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced by ultra-thin vacuum glass with an impressive U-value of 0.40. Thanks to the minimal thickness (only 8.3 mm), the original frames could remain in place — ideal for those who want to insulate without compromising on character.
Extra beautiful detail: some panes are installed as secondary glazing in front of the existing stained glass. This way, the stained glass is preserved and the house still benefits from top insulation.
Comfortable living in style, without compromises!

Smart glass, smart choices
In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, this detached house in Lisse has become much more comfortable and energy-efficient. The old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced with super-insulating vacuum glass from BENGglas, with a U-value of 0.40. This significantly reduces heat loss and the energy bill. The lower the U-value, the better the insulation — and you notice that immediately.
Also nice: adhesive bars were chosen instead of real bars. This way, the classic look is preserved, but with better insulation and lower costs.

Renovation with BENGglass secondary windows in The Hague
In collaboration with Koek & Reinders Schilderwerken, this monumental building in The Hague is ready for the future.
The old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced with ultra-thin vacuum glass from BENGglas (U = 0.40). This means the windows now insulate ten times better — a significant step forward in comfort and energy savings. Thanks to the minimal thickness of just 8 mm, the glass could be installed in the existing frames. This way, the classic character of the house is completely preserved. A nice detail: the slightly arched pane seamlessly matches the original design.
Furthermore, the vacuum glass provides excellent sound insulation. In this version up to 36 dB, and with a laminated variant even up to 39 dB. Ideal for homes on busy streets.
