Smart glass, smart choices
In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, this detached house in Lisse has become much more comfortable and energy-efficient. The old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced with super-insulating vacuum glass from BENGglas, with a U-value of 0.40. This significantly reduces heat loss and the energy bill. The lower the U-value, the better the insulation — and you notice that immediately.
Also nice: adhesive bars were chosen instead of real bars. This way, the classic look is preserved, but with better insulation and lower costs.

Renovation with BENGglass secondary windows in The Hague
In collaboration with Koek & Reinders Schilderwerken, this monumental building in The Hague is ready for the future.
The old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced with ultra-thin vacuum glass from BENGglas (U = 0.40). This means the windows now insulate ten times better — a significant step forward in comfort and energy savings. Thanks to the minimal thickness of just 8 mm, the glass could be installed in the existing frames. This way, the classic character of the house is completely preserved. A nice detail: the slightly arched pane seamlessly matches the original design.
Furthermore, the vacuum glass provides excellent sound insulation. In this version up to 36 dB, and with a laminated variant even up to 39 dB. Ideal for homes on busy streets.

Sustainability of a monumental building in Weurt – characterful and energy-efficient
In collaboration with Dennissen Schilderwerken, this beautiful monumental building in Weurt has been fitted with BENGglas vacuum insulation glass.
The old single glass (U = 5.8) has been replaced with tempered BENGglas with an impressive U-value of 0.40. This means: 14 times better insulation, more comfort, and a significant saving on the energy bill.
To maintain the authentic appearance, the new glass is installed in Monustop – a smart solution that respects the original putty look. And with beautiful arched panes and a traditional division in the vacuum glass, the appearance of the building remains completely in style.
A renovation that shows that sustainable and monumental go perfectly together.

Classic on the outside, futureproof on the inside
In collaboration with Glasmontage Karsten, this city farm in Zoelmond has been fitted with BENGglas vacuum glass – the perfect choice for those who want to make their home more sustainable without losing its character.
The old single glass (U=5.8) has been replaced with BENGglas with an impressive U-value of 0.40. A significant leap forward in insulation and a directly more favorable energy label as a result.
All windows on the ground floor are equipped with BENGglas in a classic putty look. For the upper floor, secondary glazing with BENGglas was chosen.
A nice detail: the original bars in the back door have been preserved. Thanks to the minimal thickness of the glass (only 8.3 mm), adhesive bars could be placed on the outside, without compromising the authentic appearance.
