Another farmhouse ready for the future!
This farm in Wapse was due for something new. The old windows let in moisture and the cold came in as if it were nothing. Time for action, then — and it came, together with Schildersbedrijf Donker.
All windows have been replaced with BENGglas. The result? No more leaks, but a warm, quiet home. And a nice bonus: everything fits perfectly in the existing frames, so the characteristic appearance is just as it was.
Cleverly renovated. Ready for the future.

Old-fashioned steel, now super well insulated
In collaboration with Schildersbedrijf Donker, we have given these steel frames a significant upgrade. The residents did not want new frames, but they did want more comfort. Thanks to the slim BENGglass (only 8.3 mm thick), the glass could simply be placed in the existing rebate — despite the limited space of only 10 mm.
With a bit of clever finishing in sealant, the edge and absorption strip were neatly concealed. Then the frames were repainted. The end result? The original appearance remained exactly as it was — but inside it is now pleasantly warm and quiet. You can no longer even hear the neighbor's radio.

From hunting lodge to future-proof living
Glazier Kok Renkum has equipped this beautiful hunting lodge in Rozendaal with BENG glass (U=0.40). Thanks to this smart upgrade – combined with 14 cm wall insulation and sleek new plasterwork – the house is ready for many years of comfortable and energy-efficient living. Beautiful on the outside, warm and quiet on the inside.

Nunnery chooses BENG glass
Together with Noord-Hollandse Glascentrale, the nunnery Casa Carmeli is taking a big step towards sustainability. The old single glazing (with a U-value of 5.8) is being replaced by BENG glass with an impressive U-value of 0.40. That means more than ten times better insulation, without losing the authentic charm of the monastery. Nice and quiet and warm, without any hassle!

80 windows further — and much better insulated
Together with Bosch & Nagelhout B.V., this house in Nunspeet received a significant upgrade. The old HR++ glass (U = 1.10) was replaced with BENG glass with a U-value of 0.40. In total, no less than 80 windows were replaced — good for more comfort, lower heating costs, and a leap in the energy label.

Immediate comfort in a monumental guise
Together with Schildersbedrijf Donker, this monumental rear facade in Meppel has been tackled — and how. The old single glazing (U = 5.8) was replaced with BENG glass (U = 0.40), supplied on behalf of Unistone Real Estate BV. The appearance remained the same, but inside it immediately felt different: after just one night, the resident noticed the difference.
