BENG glass with lead division - authentic look - modern performance
Glazier Kok Renkum gave this 1930s house a smart upgrade with BENG glass (U=0.40). By applying a lead division in the transom windows, the classic look is preserved — but inside it is now comfortable and well insulated. Less draft, less noise, yet the charm of the past.
Monument renovated, comfort maximized
In collaboration with Eekhuis, this monumental house is equipped with BENG glass with a U-value of 0.40. The old glass was replaced by slim vacuum glass that fits perfectly into the existing frames. This way, the character of the house is preserved, but inside it is now much warmer, quieter, and more comfortable. Once the painter finishes the finishing touches, these frames will look completely new again!
Smartly renovated with vacuum glass in Zaandam
Together with Van Dam Glas & Montage, this house in Zaandam has been fitted with BENGglas with a U-value of 0.40. The old glass was replaced with slim vacuum glass, without the need to adjust the frames. This means: better insulation, more comfort, and a step forward in energy-efficient living — without major renovations.
More comfort without new window frames
In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, the living room of this beautiful property has become much better insulated. The old single glazing (U = 5.8) has been replaced by BENGglas with a much better U-value of 0.40. The existing frames could remain in place, as the new glass is only 8.3 mm thick. Extra nice: it is now also much quieter inside, thanks to a noise reduction of 36 dB.
81 times better insulation with BENGglas
In collaboration with ProGlass, this house is equipped with no less than 81 BENG glass panels with an impressive insulation value of U = 0.40. The result? More warmth inside, less noise from outside, and soon a better energy label. A significant step forward in comfort and sustainability.
From single glazing to top insulation in six hours
Together with Eekhuis painter – glass and wall finishing, this house has been significantly made more sustainable in just one half-day. The old single glazing (U = 5.8) was replaced with 18 panels of BENG glass (U=0.40). This means: much less heat loss, more comfort, and soon a better energy label.
The painter will come by soon to finish the window frames. After that, everything will look neat again — and it will be noticeably warmer and quieter inside.
