Smart insulation with BENG glass in Weerkum
In collaboration with Glaszetter Kok Renkum, this farmhouse in the municipality of Ede has been fitted with vacuum glass from BENGglas. The entire ground floor received a significant insulation upgrade — without losing the character of the property.
BENGglas was chosen because of its excellent insulation value, the tempered version, and the slim construction. Also smart: the use of adhesive bars. It looks classic, insulates better, and is more budget-friendly.

More economical living in Doesburg, without new window frames
Together with Schildersbedrijf & Decorette Gabriël, this house in Doesburg has been fitted with vacuum glass from BENGglas. The old double glazing (U=2.7) has been replaced with super insulating glass with a U-value of 0.40 — that's an improvement in insulation by a factor of 7! Thanks to its slim construction, the glass fits perfectly into the existing frames, without any cutting or breaking work. A smart step towards a more comfortable home and a lower energy bill.
Note: here the predecessor of the BENGglas Double Coated type was installed. At that time, it still came with vacuum caps. These vacuum caps are not in BENGglas Double Coated, but the tint has remained the same.
Insulating without losing the stained glass
Together with Schildersbedrijf Hoskens, a smart solution was chosen for this house: BENG glass as a secondary window. This way, the original stained glass remains completely intact, but you still benefit from the insulation value of modern vacuum glass.
The old single glass (U=5.8) was replaced by glass with a U-value of 0.40 — a significant leap forward in comfort and energy efficiency, without losing any of the appearance.

Double glazing out, vacuum comfort in
In collaboration with Van Dam Glas & Montage, this house in Aerdenhout has been significantly improved in terms of insulation. The old thermopane glass (U=2.8) has been replaced with vacuum glass from BENGglas, with a U-value of only 0.40. This means: much less heat loss and a better energy label.
An extra slim version of 8.3 mm with a double coating was chosen. This way, solar heat stays outside on warm days, and warmth stays inside when it's cold — without having to compromise on light or appearance.
From thermopane to top insulation in Best
Together with Glashandel van Spaendonk, this house in Best has become much more comfortable and energy-efficient. The old thermopane glass has been replaced with BENGglas with a U-value of 0.40 — a significant leap forward in insulation.
You can feel it immediately: less draft, lower heating costs, and more peace in the house. And the best part is: the existing frames could simply remain in place.

More comfort, lower heating costs
Together with Van Dam Glas & Montage, this house in Bloemendaal has become much more comfortable and energy-efficient. The old thermopane double glazing (U-value 2.8) has been replaced by the smart vacuum glass from BENGglas. With a U-value of only 0.40, this glass is almost seven times better insulating. This not only means a better energy label but also significantly lower heating costs. A win-win situation!
For this project, the extra slim 8.3 mm version of BENGglas was chosen, with a double low-E coating for optimal insulation and excellent sun protection. This way, the interior stays pleasantly cool in the summer and warm in the winter, while the authentic appearance of the house remains intact.
