BENG glass is not only very strong in insulation, but also effective in blocking sound. We measure this with the RW (C; Ctr) values - the higher the number, the quieter your home becomes. In general, the better the insulation value, the better the soundproofing. So by using the best insulation value, BENG glass also directly provides the best sound insulation!

Here are the figures at a glance:

• HR++ glass has an overall sound insulation of about 31 dB, with a range of 30 to 27 dB at low and high frequencies.
• HR++ glass or triple glass scores slightly better with an overall value of 33 dB, but at low and high frequencies the sound level can range from 31 to 27 dB.
• BENG glass goes one step further with an overall sound insulation of 36 dB and also performs very consistently between 34 and 33 dB at low and high frequencies.
