In collaboration with Glashandel van Spaendonk, this house near Gilze-Rijen air base is equipped with BENG glass.

The proximity to the air base required very good noise insulation. BENGglas offers an attenuation of 36 dB (with the laminated variant even 39 dB). This means an additional attenuation of 3 dB compared to triple glass. In addition, the existing window frames could be retained thanks to the low thickness of the glass, which would not have been possible with triple glazing.
