The residents wanted to retain the authentic features and at the same time save on the purchase of new window frames. Thanks to the small thickness of BENGglas of only 8.3 mm, which fits perfectly into the existing window frames, BENGglas turned out to be the ideal solution. With a rebate height of only 10 mm, space was limited, but by applying a subtle layer of sealant, the absorption strip could be nicely concealed.

The result? Stylish steel frames without visible absorption strip and sealing edges. The residents are enthusiastic about the improved thermal and sound insulation. What used to make radio music audible outside is now a thing of the past.
