The single-glazed windows (U=5.8) were replaced by BENGglas MAX with a U value of no less than 0.50. The window frames? These did not need to be replaced due to the thin glass thickness of only 8.3 mm. And as an added benefit? A reduction in street noise of no less than 36db!
