Sustainability with type BENG glass!
In collaboration with Hoskens Schilderwerken, this building in Leiden has undergone significant sustainability improvements.
The outdated single glass has been replaced here by vacuum glass from BENGglas . As a result, the U-value of the glass has fallen from 5.8 (single glass) to only 0.40 ( BENG glass ). This means that the windows now insulate no less than ten times better. A nice detail is the slightly arched shape of the diamond.
