Sustainability with type BENGglas !
In collaboration with Hoskens Schilderwerken, this building in Leiden has undergone significant sustainability improvements.
The outdated single glass has been replaced here by vacuum glass from BENGglas . As a result, the U-value of the glass has fallen from 5.8 (single glass) to only 0.40 ( BENGglas ). This means that the windows now insulate no less than ten times better. A nice detail is the slightly arched shape of the diamond.
