Making a monumental building in The Hague more sustainable
In collaboration with Koek & Reinders Schilderwerken, another beautiful monumental building in The Hague has been made more sustainable.
The old single glazing - with a U-value of 5.8 - has been replaced here by BENGglas BASIC with a U-value of 0.58.
With this, the house takes a big step towards a more favorable energy label and the residents will save considerably on the energy bill.
Because the glass is very thin (8.15 mm), it can be placed in the existing frames. As a result, the appearance of the house remains unchanged, but one benefits from optimal insulation.
A nice detail in this project are the windows with a double arch!
