In collaboration with PROGLASS BV, this detached villa in the municipality of Baarn is fitted with the best insulating glass in the world: BENGglas !

The single glass, with a U-value of 5.8, has been replaced here by type BENGglas with a U-value of no less than 0.40. Due to the low thickness of the vacuum insulating glass (8.3 mm), the existing window frames could be reused and the authentic appearance of the building has been retained.

A number of vacuum glass panes have been processed into additional windows here to retain the current stained glass, but still benefit from optimal insulation.
