Making the monumental building Weurt more sustainable

In collaboration with Dennissen Schilderwerken – Glass insulation BV, a monumental building in Weurt has been made more sustainable by the application of BENG glass !

The single glass – with a U-value of 5.8 – has been replaced here by tempered vacuum glass with a U-value of no less than 0.40. As a result, the glass insulates a factor of 14 better and the residents will save considerably on the gas bill.

Where the single glass was still placed with putty, the BENG glass placed in the Monustop to maintain the authentic appearance.

Nice details here are the various bar windows and the compartments of vacuum glass.
