Type BENGglas used in monumental house
This monumental house has been fitted with vacuum glass of the BENGglas Glasgilde .
The traditional single glass has been replaced here by BENGglas , which has a U value (insulation value) of 0.40, which insulates many times better than the old single glass with a U value of 5.8.
This type of vacuum glass is only 8.3 mm thick, so it almost always fits in existing frames. This means that you save on replacing the frames and that the authentic look is preserved.
In addition, the vacuum glass ensures significantly improved living comfort. It not only solves thermal bridges, but also offers optimum sound insulation (dB=36) and has 15% more natural light compared to triple glazing.
