RENOVATION
Bengglas® is ideal for the renovation market. In contrast to traditional insulating glass, vacuum glass is extremely thin (8.3 mm), so that Bengglas® can be used effortlessly in existing frames. This saves considerably on the costs of frame replacement and offers a smart solution for making existing homes more sustainable. Where traditional insulating glass (U = 2.80) and single glass (U = 5.80) only have a low insulation value, Bengglas® with a U-value from 0.35 offers a significant improvement in insulation and energy efficiency.

NEW CONSTRUCTION
Thanks to the unparalleled insulation value (U = 0.35), Bengglas® is perfect for designing buildings according to the mandatory BENG standard (almost energy-neutral buildings). By opting for high insulating glass, which covers a large part of the building shell, you can cut on other materials, such as a less heavy heat pump. The glass is also very light in weight at only 20 kilos per m², which also results in savings on the hinges and locks.
Noise reduction plays an increasingly important role in modern living and working, and BENGglas® contributes to this by achieving a noise reduction of at least 36 dB, while the layered variant even reaches -39 dB. The long lifespan of BENGglas®, up to 50 years, also ensures the sustainability of the building, meaning it is built for the long term.

Featured Delivered: Beautifully situated church in Windesheim
This historic building, in collaboration with Bosch & Nagelhout, has undergone a sustainable transformation thanks to the introduction of Bengglas Double Coated . The old ankle glass, with a U-value of 5.8, has been replaced by tempered vacuum glass with an impressive insulation value of 0.40 and a thickness of only 8.3 mm. This made it possible to place the glass in each window section without structural adjustments. The front house at the front has therefore achieved a huge improvement in the energy label.
